Terms And Conditions

"We", "us" and "our" mean The Column Radiator Company, a trading name of Westminster Bathrooms Limited, company number 12717037, of 5 to 7 Coptfold Road, Brentwood, Essex CM14 4BN. "You" means the person placing the order. "Goods" means the radiators, valves and accessories you order.

"In stock" means White RAL 9016 radiators and accessories held at our premises. "Made to order" means any radiator coated in a colour or finish other than stock white, which is manufactured for your order.

Each order you place is an offer to purchase goods subject to these terms. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order, not when payment is taken. The contract is between you and Westminster Bathrooms Limited.

We may decline an order where goods are unavailable, where a price was shown in error, or where we cannot deliver to your address. Please check the height, section count, colour and options on your confirmation as soon as it arrives.

The price payable is the price shown at the time you place your order. All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or supplier error, we may cancel the order, even after confirmation. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.

Please provide billing details that match those held by your card issuer. Mismatched details may delay your order. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full. We will issue a VAT invoice.

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to supply goods you have ordered, we will let you know and refund any sum you have paid for them. We will not be liable for any other loss arising from our inability to supply.

Lead times shown on the website or quoted by our team are estimates provided by us or our suppliers. On occasion, for reasons beyond our control, a lead time may be extended. We will not be liable for any costs arising from such a delay.

• White RAL 9016 is held in stock and is dispatched in 3 to 4 working days.
• Any other colour or finish is powder coated for your order and takes 4 to 6 weeks.
• Valves and accessories are dispatched in 2 to 3 working days.

Delivery is charged at £14.95 including VAT per order to UK mainland addresses, and is free on orders of £999.99 or more. Valves and accessories ordered on their own are £6.95 including VAT ; ordered alongside a radiator they are dispatched with it at no additional delivery charge.

Goods are delivered by standard courier, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Goods are delivered only to the address on the order. Mainland UK excludes Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and certain Scottish Highlands and Islands ; please contact us before ordering if you are in one of these areas, as additional charges apply.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

• Please check your delivery before signing. Confirm the correct number of packages, and if there is visible damage, sign for the goods as damaged rather than unchecked, or refuse the delivery if the goods are clearly damaged.
• Any visible transit damage, shortages or incorrect items must be reported to us, with photographs, within 48 hours of delivery, and the original packaging retained. This short window applies to visible transit issues only and does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods.
• We cannot accept the return of any product on the grounds of visible damage once it has been installed. Please do not install your radiator, or book a plumber or installer, until you have checked that the goods are correct and undamaged.

48 hour grace period. You have a 48 hour grace period from the time you place your order, during which you may cancel or amend it free of charge. After 48 hours, made to order items move into production and the returns terms below apply. To cancel, notify us in writing. Email is fine. A phone call alone is not sufficient.

Statutory cancellation. For stock items that have not been made or personalised to your specification, you have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Made to order goods. Radiators coated in any colour or finish other than stock white, and colour matched accessories, are made to your specification. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 such goods are exempt from the statutory cooling off right and, once they have entered production, cannot be cancelled, except as set out below.

Our full returns terms are set out on our delivery and returns page. In summary :

• In stock white radiators and standard accessories may be returned for a full refund if you notify us within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be returned in their original, unused and uninstalled condition with all packaging intact.
• Made to order radiators and colour matched accessories are non refundable, subject only to the 48 hour grace period above, because they are coated to your order and cannot be resold.
• Faulty or damaged goods are replaced or refunded in full, whichever the finish.
• Written return authorisation from us is required before returning any item, and we will confirm the correct return address. Where you arrange your own return, the goods remain your responsibility, including adequate transit insurance, until received by us. Items received incomplete, damaged or in unsellable condition will not be refunded.

Return carriage for a change of mind is paid by you. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of the goods reaching us.

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the 30 day right to reject faulty goods for a refund, are unaffected by these terms.

We guarantee our radiators for ten years against manufacturing defects in the steel body and the powder coated finish, from the date of delivery. The guarantee applies to a radiator installed by a competent person on a properly maintained wet central heating system. It does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect installation, corrosive water, freezing, physical impact, or painting over the finish.

Please report a fault as soon as possible, with photographs, by email. We will assess it from the photographs where we can and arrange a repair or a replacement at our option. We will not be liable for installation costs, plumber or electrician fees, or any consequential loss arising from a faulty item.

Images and colour swatches shown on this website are for illustration only and may not exactly reproduce the finish of the product, owing to screen settings and lighting. Colour matches to a RAL reference are matched as closely as the powder coating process allows, and slight variation from a printed chart is normal and is not a defect.

All dimensions are approximate. Please confirm exact technical data with us before installation.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to your statutory rights, our liability under any order is limited to the price you paid for the goods.

We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, arising from the use of this website or the supply of goods, including loss arising from a delay in delivery of made to order goods.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this website at the date of your order. A failure to enforce any term does not waive our right to enforce it later. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
